FIX AN INSTALLED APP THAT ISN’T WORKING

WORKINGFORCE QUIT THE APP

  • On an iPhone X or later, you swipe up from the bottom left corner of the home screen and stay short at the center of the screen.
  • On an iPhone 8 or earlier, double-click the home button to view the apps you viewed last
    Swipe right or left to find the app you want to close.
  • Swipe upwards on the app’s preview to close it.

RESTART & UPDATE
Restart your iPhone X or later

  • Press and hold the side button and one of the volume buttons until the slider appears.
  • Drag the slider to completely turn the device off.
  • When the device is turned off, press and hold the side button again until the Apple logo appears.

Restart your iPhone 8 or earlier

  • Press and hold the upper button (or side button) until the slider appears.
  • Drag the slider to completely turn the device off.
  • When the device is turned off, press and hold the upper button (or side button) again until the Apple logo appears.

In iOS 11 or later, you can turn off your device by going to Settings> General> Turn off.

CHECK FOR IPHONES UPDATES
Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS,

System updates can bring improvements that could fix your issue.
To check for and install system updates:

  • For iOS apps, go to the App Store on your iOS device, then tap Updates.

If an update is available, tap Update. If asked, enter your Apple ID and password. You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps on your iOS device.

DELETE AND REINSTALL THE APP

DELETE AN APP

  • Tap and hold down the app icon until it vibrates.
  • Touch the X top left of the app.
  • Touch Delete. Then tap Done on an iPhone X or later. If you have an iPhone 8 or earlier, press the home button.

Any subscriptions in apps you have not automatically quit when you delete an app.

REINSTALL AN APP

Before you can redownload items from the App Store, follow these steps:

  • Sign in with the Apple ID that you used to download the item originally.
  • Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.

Then redownload it from the App Store.
